Layout and Script Access Control
IntermediateRestrict which layouts users can navigate to and which scripts they can run directly.
What you'll learn
- How to restrict layout access by privilege set
- The difference between "no access" and not navigating users there
- Script-level access control options
- Using RunWithFullAccess for scripts that need elevated rights
Privilege sets control not just what data users can touch, but which layouts they can navigate to and which scripts they can run from menus or keyboard shortcuts. This matters most for kiosk-style deployments and solutions where different roles see completely different UIs.

Layout access in a privilege set
Edit a privilege set and go to the Layouts section. You can set access for all layouts at once, or click "Custom privileges..." to set each layout individually. Options are: View (can navigate to and see), Modify (can edit in Layout mode), and Create/Delete (can create new layouts or delete existing ones).
